A bit about me
I got my first film SLR camera when I was 16 (a Praktica MTL5. I just checked, they're selling them for £:11.99 on ebay now!) and I've been hooked on photography ever since. I've moved on to using Canon cameras and lenses and Bowens studio lighting but I'm essentially still the same excited kid when I get my camera out.
Pretty much wherever I go I find myself wondering how I'd take a photograph, looking at what the light's doing and thinking how I'd get the composition to look good. I can't really help it; it's become second nature now.
My experience ranges from live gig photography and working with models in studios to weddings and family portraits.
I've been published internationally and here in the UK and I'm always trying to learn more so I can take my photography further.
You're probably thinking that's all very well but why would you choose me and not another photographer?
The one sentence I hear more than any other is 'I hate having my picture taken'. To be fair, most people have had some very negative experiences with photography and I can see their point.
The thing that I do well is to make people feel relaxed in front of my camera and even *gasp* have fun
getting their picture taken.
Yes, I know it sounds weird but it's true.
But you don't have to take my word for it.
